I am always reading these forums & getting interesting ideas & info. so I thought I would cast my line & see what ideas people may have. Where do mature adults, retirees etc. go to try to find rentals in this area? I know there is a need.. as I have discovered going through this process with my grandfather. I am also trying to help my grandfather find a place to rent in S. NH, or around Newburyport MA and we are also trying to rent out his condo... but it's hard connecting with people who meet the criteria (55+). So where do people go? How would you reach that demographic? There is nothing "geriatric" or restrictive (other than age) about the community- it's just a small, new, spacious condo settlement overlooking the lovely woods.... I would love any ideas

bnatale,

There are many wonderful 55+ communities in southern New Hampshire that I'm sure your grandfather would love. I would recommend subscribing to The Senior Beacon ( SeniorBeacan.biz) as a resource. They focus on the 50+ community and claim to reach over 35,000 readers in Southern New Hampshire. I think you will find it a plethora of information for the 55+ community.

Good luck!

Where is his condo - what town? When we sell our home we might rather rent for awhile and a condo might be better than an apartment.
