Well the plan is to purchase the home "paid in full" then just pay those New Jerkey property taxes - well my parents that is.

As long as the area is safe enough is what I was meaning about the "good side", I should've made that more clearer in that post.

If schools aren't a factor then you can get some great deals in Sicklerville. It's not like the area is bad, really just the schools are.

Yeah the Winslow side of Sicklerville has some cheap, cheap houses but the taxes are pretty high still.

Any other home in another area is either smaller, old and with close to the same or higher taxes.

Yeah we've seen this is the case but unfortunately they have to stay in New Jersey b/c of our permanently disabled family member.

But being that "that" home will have no mortgage those tax expenses are manageable.

Look into Gloucester Township, you can probably find a foreclosure for cheap, and the school district is better so it will hold its value better for the future.

Thanks, my brother is a RE Agent and lives in South Jersey so he's been looking there but still above the $$$ amount my parents want to pay and afford. Plus my parents need to sell their current home in order to purchase any other home.

In fact same brother lived in the Terrestria complex in Sicklerville (people that know Sicklerville and area know where this is) before he got married.
