My husband and I have been searching for a place to rent for 6 months. My commute is to New Brunswick and his to NYC.
We are torn between two places - Finchley Gardens in South Bound Brook and The Gardens at Raritan in New Brunswick.
I realize the Bound Brook areas flood - they have a second floor apartment available. Since our lease would be for 6 months, the cost there is $1025/mth as opposed to the one in NB which is $825/mth (utilities are electric). I've seen many good reviews for the NB apartment but also some ones that seem really bad. It seems that the largest issue is parking b/c there aren't enough spots and so many renters get parking tickets and some even have there cars towed.
I'm wondering if anyone has heard anything about Finchley Gardens? Parking doesn't seem to be an issue and I like the staff member that I've dealt with.
