The trooper did a great job and he knew what he was doing. That person should be thankful they didn't get a ticket for being a left lane dick.

the guy was probably driving appropriately until a cop suddenly comes flying up on his butt in no time flat and thinks the sea should just part for him because he is a dirtbag cop.

Spent 11 years of my life commuting on the road.

Back to the video. Good job by the Trooper. Kind of reminded me of last week's race at Talladega.

I completely agree PDD. These offenders are more egregious in their actions than someone exceding the speed limit, as well as more dangerous. A complete lack of driving etiquette, and surroundings. In Germany, the trooper would have put this driver's license into a shredder after the motorist was pulled over.

I have no problem with the cop moving this guy over to the slow lane, but the cop is following way to closely. All the perp had to do was panic when the cop flipped the patrol cars lights on and there could have been an accident. Cops should exercise the same safety rules on the road as the rest of us when enforcing the law.

You are probably right but then this thread and the video wound not have been so much fun to watch.

High five for the fuzzolini in keeping the left lane cleared from LLL. left lane lugtards.
As far as the road it does look like that section of eight zeroes, but the only thing I question is it looks like there's an abandoned sign post from the days of HOV lanes and that section was never an HOV. Will have to check it next time I'm up that way to see if there's an empty sign post there.

I-80 was an HOV from exit 34 route 15 to exit 43 I-287, in the mid 1990s.

What's even more incredible is that stretch of road is only 9 miles long. It seems at least double that when you drive on it.

I don't usually either, but the cop was right in this case. In some countries like Germany you routinely get a ticket if you drive in the passing lane. Makes sense too.
