So I had to get my windshield replaced due to an accident. All I have is a pretty beat up inspection sticker that is barely readable. Do I just take it to the DMV? Wait in line or go inside?

I checked the website, couldn't find anything.

What I would do is start inside and show the sticker along with bill for the replacement of the window and go from there.

I would go around to the exit of the inspection station and show them what you have. They would know what to do without waiting in any line. Just go to the "reinspection" area

Scroll down to page 5, it covers the replacement stickers:

http://www.state.nj.us/mvc/pdf/Inspe...inspection.pdf

You basically have to go to the station and get in the "re-inspection" line. You need to show your license, registration and insurance card and then one of the following:

Damaged inspection sticker.
Receipt from previous inspection.
Receipt for windshield replacement.
Police report of the incident.
