Since I don't like having to comment in three forums on the same exact topic (but understand in the sense that there's no single "metro NYC" forum), the OP can look in the Westchester forum where I give a lot more details.

where did you get that info from as far as I can tell there are more overall Litvish, Yekish and Modern Orthodox in Monsey together then Hasidim (though they have a plurality if you combine all the different Hasidim together (even though they are worlds apart))

Perhaps if were to list a few towns, you could rank them from highest to lowest Jewish population. I will give my estimate, with 1 representing the most Jewish. ... To be clear, I am differentiating between secular and orthodox. I am asking for suburbs that have the most secular Jews so places like Williamsburg in Brooklyn need not apply. I am posting this on all the forums related to New York and its suburbs.
Hmm... interesting question. The purpose of your inquiry, Sirhc Yam?

Lakewood is more Orthodox, Livingston more secular. Livingston is more Liberal,Lakewood more conservative. As conservative as we Jews are. We are not very conservative compared with other religions.
