Unless you have a history of "problems" why would you "need" someone better than any other OB/GYN out there??

If you do have a history of something (not asking you to admit or divulge) then one of the top docs for problems is Dr. Labib E. Riachi. He has offices in Elizabeth (Trinitas) and Westfield. More of a surgeon on the cutting edge but still very nice and easy to talk to.

If you don't have problems necessarily but still want an awesome doc I recommend Dr. Jeffrey T. Beauchamp in Clark.

(My sis in is the biz so I hear WAAAAY more about OB/GYN stuff than I ever wanted to know, lol.)

i'll second dr. riachi is good, but wait times esp. on saturdays are ridiculous. i know my mom uses him.
some advice i got when i was pregnant the first time, find a group practice with a combo of young newly practicing doctors mixed with older more experienced doctors. the younger docs know all the new technology (if there are real problems) and the olders ones have experience on their side.
good luck!

I highly recommend Dr.Riachi..experience wise, professional wise. He is so talented and smart and good at what he does. I've been with him 6 years now..u never go wrong. He is so reliable always available. He is honest and patient. Office staff is friendly and this helps a lot. I referred to him all my girlfriends and they were so happy with the results.

I would suggest Dr Winsome Parchment in your area. She is a really nice lady who is knowledgeable and tries to help her patients have a nice birth. I used a large practice with my first baby and my birth was a nightmare. I met the doctor who was at my birth once. And I was just another patient to him. After that I used a practice of 2 midwives and then switched to an OB in solo practice (further west though) when I needed to be under a doctor's care for my birth. My birth experiences were so much nicer. Cutting edge with technology is great. But typically you need someone who is skilled at helping babies out.

Geez, people, you are answering a post from January 2011. Do you think this woman is still pregnant?
