We're looking to buy a house four blocks from the Anderson Street station and about 8 houses down from the train tracks. Obviously we expect to hear the train, but we're wondering if anyone can speak to just how loud it is (unfortunately the train hasn't come by on our trips to the house - poor timing on our part we realize). Do folks who live around the tracks find it a nuisance, or have you gotten used to it? Thanks for the help!

You get used to it , the bigger and house shaking teterboro planes tend to cause more issues then the train horns.
