No at least I dont have to hear that ever again!! He really got depressed!! I guess some people would love to do this, I gave him every chance to retire and do his dream at 43 years old!!!! We were not touching any principle of the investments and also re distrubuting and investing the stuff we did not touch. It just was not enough. I even went and got the job, with health Insurance for both of us in the middle of nowhere!!! So I tried, but he cracked up. I see a light at the end of this whole damn live in the woods dream and let me say, if it was not for him, I just may have liked it. I took the high road and made the best of all around, where he just fell apart.
Thanks all and I will try some CROW tonight!!
I love Frank's red hot, so crow and red hot sauce ummmmm!!!

He starts job, Jan 2 , closing on house jan 15. So having home inspector next Tuesday, so I am in the process. We asked for a quick closing, so we are in the works.

Thanks again, and maybe when I am back, we can share a crow together. Listen the people up here are so poor (not the vacationers) they may just be eating crow. The only difference between NY state hillbillies and NC are teeth.

Some folks just don't do well with that retirement thing. My F-I-L is bartending at 82 years old!!

What a blessing that he got his old job back!
Me? I'm practicing for my retirement profession.
"You want fries with that???"

Welcome back to the "fold"

Good luck, Your husband retired at 43 to sit in the isolated woods of the upstate New York to fish for the rest of his life. No wonder he went nuts. I mean 43 is too young, if he lives to 83, 40 years of sitting in the deserted woods is to damn long. He's still a young pup.

I think it was more His mid life crisis not retirement!!!!! HA HA There is one career he could have had here, its drinking Keystone Light the cheap 30 pack with the neighbors!!! They dont even have good German Weiss beer. He told me today with a smile he will not miss Keystone Light and Nascar!!!

I hope I made everyone laugh, but thank god, we did not do the Upper Paw Paw Road. That was an earlier post. I mean this whole deal was like a bad IFC/SUndance movie. Similar to Afflication. You gotta laugh!! Let me say I have lived alot of life and still laughing. Now let me go pay for this lousy title insurance.

Welcome back to NJ. Wow, you are one patient and kind-hearted wife! Small world, I live in Oak Ridge; and now I see that we have another Jefferson Twp. poster on the forum too. We moved here two years ago from Bergen County and love it.

We should meet at the Milton Inn (or the Wearhouse Grill) and have a drink. LOL. Anyway, hope your home inspection goes smoothly.

Thanks both of you above. Yes my husband is a good man, at least the mid life crisis was only a move , not posting on craigslist for 20 years old.
I would love to meet you for a drink, we really are a lot of fun to be around, a little harmless crazy, responsible but crazy. When I close maybe we can PM each other She Sells. You know what I do need is a great gym in the area. What I look for is a lot of weight equiptment. I need a full gym with all the weights and machines. Maybe I will throw that one out for the crowd. Thanks again Marilyn
