almost every large town has good and not so good places, in Bayonne there are some undesirable locations but overall the town is fairly safe, the further from JC you are, the better

That's literally next to a Light Rail stop- It's in is a fairly safe, quiet area. It's a little industrious around there, but nothing too bad.
