I myself agree the bear should be captured and given a chance to recover its use of its front paws ,if not put him down

if that bear cant heal properly it will be a matter of time before a child is seen as an easy meal ,then the laughter and smiles will turn to lets kill every bear in jersey

why is it supposed educated people cant see this coming?

If an animal is feeding, grooming and socializing it is fine.

But by all means if some veterinary surgeon wants to do an esoteric operation for free and garner some PR go for it.

A $2 bullet to the brains is easier. They're a nuisance in NW NJ like giant squirrels.
