Saddle River, Harding and Alpine as others have mentioned. I'd throw in Rockleigh as well. Basically in NJ, the richest towns have the lowest tax rates. They all have amazing schools too. It's kind of like Harvard, the hardest part is getting in.
What's funny is that so crappy drug seller central area in NJ still commands a high property tax bill. Many of the tenants in these properties are living on bank possessed properties so the banks just pay for the taxes.
I was looking at some property taxes on some area around newark, south plainsfield, etc and some runned down place is paying $11-14k amazing.
...and then there is the incredible traffic congestion in that area...
And the congestion overall.
