Holmdel is a great town. Regarding that street, depending on your budget i would try to stick to below rt 35. That's usually the dividing line for the more desirable area of Holmdel.

Default Hi

Thanks. That's what I have been hearing but I was only able to find new construction in that area within that budget. Is there anything bad in particular about that road? Any area below route 35?

that piece of Holmdel above 35 is generally considered less desirable and is where you are going to find the most affordable homes in Holmdel. I'm not aware of any major issues there. maybe it just feels too much like hazlet. i think the northwest portion is also not as nice as the rest of Holmdel. I do like being convenient to rt 35, so i wouldn't want to go too far south.

I grew up in Hazlet. Everyone aspired to be able to afford and move to Holmdel! It was considerably more upscale than Hazlet ever hoped to be. Perhaps one or the other has changed over the years. I've been gone a while.

Ehh... only if you like great schools, beautiful scenery, an awesome county park, close proximity to the shore, and reasonable commutability to NYC
