Clinton township in Hunterdon County. It has two largest Lakes in NJ, Round Valley and Spruce Run. Lots of boating, swimming, camping as activities in summer.

Ok we drove out to Ringwood area and it was great, and Greenwood Lake was beautiful as people have suggested. Not sure about the schools though. Are there any towns close to Ringwood or further east that have even better schools? Especially lake areas.

Okay we are going to check them out next thanks. I used to work at St. Joe's in Wayne but I've never seen these areas.

I since moved from NJ but do miss many parts of my home state including towns like Sparta, Netcong and Mountain Lakes. Here is article about Sparta from ny times
