Thinking about renting apartment in Montclair. Will be new to area, any suggestions.

suggestions as to what? If you do a search on this forum, there are many threads about Montclair that may be helpful. Give more information and you'll get some answers

Default Favorite area of montclair
The area of town that I like lies below Bellevue and above Walnut Street (preferably above Watchung) and walkable to Valley Road and Brookdale Park. This has to be the best part of Montclair IMO. The town has great parks and ice cream (for those who eat ice cream), LOL!
