Okay, if you insist, I will comment on that redundancy.
It continues to amaze me that some people refer to a "PIN number", which--literally--means Personal Identification Number Number.''
This announcement was brought to you by the Department of Redundancy Department.
That doesn’t make sense since registration renewal can be done online. Inspection does not involve going to MVC. The problem is thousands of kids who turned 17 between March and now who are desperate for their licenses. They needed an appointment system and more workers.
How about everyone that bought a car from a private seller that had to go to MVC to transfer a title and get new reg? I was one of those. Waited from 630 am to 10 am on 7/7 only to be sent home because they knew they couldn’t serve so many people. Went back the next day at 3am. There were already 50 people ahead of me. But they opened at 8 and I was out by 10 am. So it was a 7 hour ordeal to be able to drive a car that’s been sitting in my garage for 4 months. Just pure insanity. Why can’t this be done on line or by mail?
Why can’t I mail them the title and all necessary paperwork and they mail me a new title, plates and reg? It’s 2020 for the love of God. Will Motor Vehicle ever get out of the dark ages?

I think everything state related is out of date. Look at the disaster Unemployment was to navigate. They still use COBOL system. However it a catch 22 as modernizing would cost millions and then people would complain about the budget. Easy for politicians to wait for the next guy to fix it which it was outdated for the past several governors.

I went through inspection today , 10 minutes. I assumed I'd be there for hours. Still amazed!!!
I’m impressed. Maybe there is hope.
