President Biden kept his campaign promise and ordered a pause on oil and gas leasing on public lands, which the courts have subsequently BLOCKED, mandating that the program CONTINUE.
Many of the supply chain issues started with the COVID policies this president and his administration put into place. Again such as vaccine mandates on federal workers.
How so? My impression is the shortages are worldwide not just domestic. Many manufacturers such as those who make computer chips for cars, stopped production in favor of chips for electronics due to the decline in demand for cars, things like that. The shortages started during Covid, not after the election. What changed after was the economy improved and thus demand increased. And again, it’s worldwide demand that caused it it’s not a domestic caused problem. Other shortages are due to parts that manufacturers need that cone from overseas. What specific policies are you referring to that effected worldwide demand for limited supply i products? What do federal workers have to do with it?

Again, why the shenanigans? Why not just lower the income tax in those brackets?
They are trying to make you think they are doing something about property taxes, but they are not. They are lowering income taxes for people making less than $250k. Which is fine if that's what they think is the right thing to do, but disguising it as "property tax relief" to score political points is pretty sleazy. If it is really the right thing to do, why not stand behind it and call it what it really is?
But since you think they are "lowering your property taxes", when they come up with a half a billion dollar short fall in the state budget, they can say our income taxes have to be raised to make up for the budget shortfall. People dont complain about income taxes here the way they complain about property taxes, so they should be able to get away with it pretty easily. "Look! We are keeping your property taxes down with these rebates." It's all just a shell game.
And at the same time, they can make people in towns that know how to budget their money, pay for waste management, road repair, teachers/schools, etc, in towns that don't know how to budget their money. Towns nowhere near where the people who are paying, live.
They won't be able to do anything with property taxes permanently unless they change the school funding formula and stand up to the teacher's union. Our current governor has no plans to stand up to them. Hell they bankrolled his campaign so there's a zero chance of that happening. So we will be stuck with just playing this shell game of moving money around. Raising tolls and then giving us a few pennies back every now and then.

There is also a huge hole in the budget from defined benefit pension and retiree healthcare benefits debt.
