It's the Biden Administration's CPSC doing this; Booker is just cheerleading.

We knew this prior to the election, if you don't watch the fake media and figure out the real news its known. They are also coming for your home heater.

It was stated that "natural gas connections" cause asthma. This opens up the home to any gas appliance. Even if it vents outside, which makes no sense. Also, I've never seen a "natural gas connection" cause asthma and call into question just how scientific this report was.

When we're all on electric, he who controls the electric controls you. When people have multiple sources of energy, its much harder to control them.

For the Nervous Nellies out there who are--bizarrely--convinced that they will soon be required to remove gas ranges and/or gas furnaces from their home, here is some reality:

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/bi...limate-change/

I will add that, in the event that gas ranges are taken off the market at some time in the future, that would have no bearing on existing gas appliances in one's home.

Cheerleading is about the extent of CB's qualifications.

Yes but you can't replace your stove with gas, and stoves have a lifespan of 13 years. So if you don't have one that's not brand spanking new, you're likely going to be forced to convert sooner than later.

They are also going for your home heater. They want to force you to convert to an electric heat pump, which obviously costs more and is an inferior product.

It is being done so they can control you. If you don't think that's going to happen, there was already an incident in Denver this year, where the power company started changing peoples thermostats.

Same goes for the forced conversion to electric cars, climate change is the façade (ironically EV cars are worse for the environment), but its about being able to control you and your car. The last Congress tried to push through kill switch legislation in the pass few bills.

something tells me that the nannystate crowd would be in complete favor of an all electric (and internet connected) world. think of the possibilities as it relates to making the masses comply. “sorry, we are shutting down your oven for your health”

Its amazing how liberals never seem to understand that if a manufacturer can't sell his product in states like CA, NY, NJ, they won't be produced for people who live in Kansas either. Once CA, NY etc, goes to all EV cars, that is 60 million people who are no longer consumers of ICE cars. Suddenly, car manufacturing becomes a lot less profitable.

Its the same for stoves, and its going to be the same for gas stations. Gas fired stoves don't last forever, and I should have the choice of whether to be able to buy one from Home Depot, rather than a Albanian guy out of the back of his van selling black market stoves, which always happens when people ban things. Or from some sketchy Chinese website.

Good luck getting a gas-fired hot water heater in the future. And yes, heat pump water heaters are not as efficient and they make your house cold in the winter, which has to be overcome by more heat, which will also be electric and not very efficient or toasty warm.

Why does the left just let the government steam-roll their rights without standing up for themselves against these tyrants that are making decisions without our input? Nobody I know voted for this, don't we live in a representative republic? Shouldn't the people have a say? Or is it too much soy and not enough testosterone?
