I have tried getting anchor benefits but its impossible to get a PIN on that site. For a state preaching GREEN this and GREEN that, i spent over 26k this year on new house windows with top energy efficiency, new garage doors and a complete insulation of my attic. They have helped tremendously on my energy savings but I got ZERO back in taxes or any type of govt rebate. But hey go buy a 60k tesla and here is 8k from the govt.
Then it should just be a credit included with our tax return to make it easier. The separate application makes no sense. It is also not exactly based on income, just income limits (which are too high in my opinion), and whether you rent or a home owner.
I was just thinking the income limits are too low. $150,000 is not a lot of money in NJ,esp Hudson and Bergen County.

I never got an application and couldn't reach anyone, ended up writing my legislature's office, and they called me back and told me they applied for me. Said it was sent to my old address. It's late now but can't hurt to try.

I came here to post the same thing..
Too low!
"So called" high earners always get screwed.
They don't qualify for any tax breaks, incentives, or benefits.
