Obama will be our next president... it's pretty much in the bag. It will be a landslide victory and the republicans will be seeking a recount in the State of Florida

Well, Terry, let me put it this way.... I've already taken the day after Election Day off of work. I will either be hung over from celebrating until 3:00 AM or I will be hung over and depressed and crying.... either way, I'll need the day off! LOL I also have my George Bush pinata ready for the election party at my sister's house. LOL

Young grasshopper, you sound like Dewey supporters back in 1948.

Awww. MPBsr, we are obviously never going to agree on politics... but that's ok - some of my good friends are Republicans!

Didn't need to be around in 48. Just learn from history.

Whether it's Dems or Repubs, I'm just tired of tax and spend. This 2 party system doesn't work. Especially since it's 1 party in NJ.

You're right..it doesn't work but it's all we have at the moment. I'm convinced 3rd party candidates are funded and encouraged by the republicans

My vote goes to McCain both for the state and the country. He has his faults but Obama is basically for big government. The government has never successfully ran a program (i.e., welfare, social sec, medicare, etc) as good as the private sector. Obama scares me when he says things like "universal healthcare" and "government oversight of financial insititutions". It sounds a lot like socialism to me. I'm not interested in going down that road!

I don't get why this isn't a good thing given the state we are in now???? Obviously you don't pay for your own health ins? Or pay for your employees health ins. If things stay as is..we will all be without ins or be required to pay the full whack ourselves!
