Would any of those responses be Cumberland?

There's a thread on here titled: Best and Worst Counties...that should help some.
Maybe you should look into Mercer County-Princeton and West Windsor have great schools and there are many IT companies in the Princeton area. You can possibly find a smaller new construction home for that price, but anything over 3000 sq ft is 700k and up.

Here is a list of the best schools according to NJ Monthly.

Best high schools in New Jersey - NJ top schools - New Jersey Monthly - The Best of NJ (njmonthly.com)

It lists by school district not by county.

County level is a cumbersome way to look at the data. Best thing would be to focus on individual towns/school districts.

2007 School Report Card by Star Ledger (published Feb 2008)
NJ.com: School report card

I've responed to your another thread, and it has all the school ranking links. Some NJ schools' names come up on national best list again and again.

It will be REALLY tough to get any kind of objective answer to this question. I also agree that looking at something countywide is an awfully broad stroke.

With that said, Morris is hands down the best.
