Welcome to the NJ Forum. I live in horse country, Monmouth County, Cream Ridge to be exact. I'm sitting in my bedroom, wasting time on the computer and looking out the window at the horse farm. The NJ Esquestiran (sp) place is near us. Have you heard of it? Where are you?

I'm so jealous!! Never even heard of that place until about 3 years ago..I had to go there to adopt this part Maine Coon cat I fell in love with on pet finder...I fell in love with Cream Ridge..beautiful!!

I’ve just discovered your forum and would like to chime in now and then as I can. My name is Christine. I was born and raised in central NJ. I spent 15 years in Georgia, getting my graduate degree and raising a family. Now, my family and I are back in central NJ.
I work for ReRun, an ex-racehorse adoption program with chapters in NJ, NY, and KY. We take in horses from the racetracks (e.g., Monmouth Park and Meadowlands) who are no longer wanted as racers, and bring them to our foster farms for rehabilitation and re-training. We then work very hard to find loving, permanent adoptive homes for them.
Anyway, I look forward to joining your community and getting to know the regulars around here.
