Mid State Mall Bowling Lanes is now a NYC Workout place. I recall an older skeevy dude was the manager there. He served booze to all the 16 yr old pretty chicks then took them to his office....He was such a sleezeball. Rolf !! That was his name ROLF !!! LOL
Not that I MISS this, but I find it amusing. When I was in late elementary school/early HS the VCR was born. Beta...and VHS. Well, do you remember going to the Video Rental Store and PAYING like $300 for a "lifetime" membership.... that gave you the "privilege" of paying $5 per day for videos? Some things do get cheaper/better in time...
OH! Dolly Madison Ice Cream...that takes me back. Nana loved it. Remember the commercials... "Dolly Madison Ice Cream, the flavor you've been dying for....Dolly Madison Ice Cream, find Dolly at your favorite store."
OK -- to those of us who remember Dolly Madison ice cream, do you remember it as prepackaged, or fresh packed at the counter of the candy/ice cream store? My mother LOVED their butter pecan, with the great chunks of nuts (not like the chips in today's prepacked mass market brands) throughout the rich vanilla!

That is a wonderful flavor - I loved that and remember it well. I remember both... fresh and prepackaged. My grandparents owned a candy shop that served the fresh variety.
