Hi... Please... if you want advice on where to move, please include a budget! NJ and other states have many fine areas, but price and budget are HUGE factors.

Please include a budget or at least a range.

Also... we know everyone wants excellent schools and a good neighborhood. Imagine if someone came on here and said:

"HI... we're moving to the area, and want mediocre schools and a high crime area. Any suggestions?"

Just venting.

Carry on.

A lot of posters explicitly state they don't care about the schools.

The point was budget.... How about "I want to buy a car, what should I buy?" is your price range Kia, Chevy, Cadillac or Rolls?

or... "I want to go out for dinner" Mc Donalds, Fridays or Ruth Chris?

I am HAPPY to help, as are many of us. Without a budget that I can not offer help.

I want within 15 minutes of NYC. By train (so I need to live within walking distance of a train station). and I want to live somewhere upscale similar to Alpine. oh, and only 4k in taxes a year, and a home price of 300k. I can go up to 350k. BUT I must have a 3 car garage, a heated outdoor pool (with jacuzzi), sunroom/solarium, and 4 br/2ba. Along with a formal dining room, and eat in kitchen, with everything in the house updated.
