Just to clear it up I lived in Fox Chase near Shafto Road for 9 years. It did not smell that bad, you get used to it. Fox Chase and Park Place have some great units too.

Spring Meadows is nice too. There is a through way between Society Hill and Shrewsbury Twp, so kids from Shrewsbury Twp. will show up in Society Hill. The nice thing about Society Hill and Winding Brook is the pool. I love having a pool in my complex.

Default You do not know what you are talking about!

I know this is very late but to the the person talking about Shrewsbury Township, you are way off. Yes, it is very affordable and lower to middle class but there is absolutely nothing wrong with this area. I grew up there. My mom worked as a nurse and it was the only place we could afford. We met very nice people and hardley had any problems. We ALWAYS felt very safe there. There are a lot of families and older folks that live there. Before you go bashing something you should really get your facts straight! I would NEVER tell anyone to stay away from Shrewsbury Township!

LOL, thanks for posting that. I was just reading this and thinking WHAT? when someone said to "stay out of" Shrewsbury Twp.

I live in one of the condos. There's an apartment complex and also another complex that is either co-op or condo. It is so quiet and peaceful here. Most of the people are middle class working people; for example, my nearest neighbors are a mailman, a chef, and an Eatontown schoolteacher. Real scary people. A cop lives in one of the nearby buildings. Kids are outside playing in the park or skateboarding and riding their bikes on the drive and in the parking lots all the time. Sometimes I see old men hitting golf balls in the park, too. A lot of people walk or jog in the early mornings or evenings. Deer regularly show up to graze in the grass at the park or eat the apples from one of the trees at the condo complexes. Yep, it's a bastion of crime and danger here, all right. Better stay away.
