We met very nice people and hardley had any problems. We ALWAYS felt very safe there. There are a lot of families and older folks that live there. Before you go bashing something you should really get your facts straight! I would NEVER tell anyone to stay away from Shrewsbury Township!

LOL, thanks for posting that. I was just reading this and thinking WHAT? when someone said to "stay out of" Shrewsbury Twp.
I live in one of the condos. There's an apartment complex and also another complex that is either co-op or condo. It is so quiet and peaceful here. Most of the people are middle class working people; for example, my nearest neighbors are a mailman, a chef, and an Eatontown schoolteacher. Real scary people. A cop lives in one of the nearby buildings. Kids are outside playing in the park or skateboarding and riding their bikes on the drive and in the parking lots all the time. Sometimes I see old men hitting golf balls in the park, too. A lot of people walk or jog in the early mornings or evenings. Deer regularly show up to graze in the grass at the park or eat the apples from one of the trees at the condo complexes. Yep, it's a bastion of crime and danger here, all right. Better stay away.
