We just visited Wednesday 4/7, while the kids were on Easter break.
Small crowd, very civil, price would have been $50.00 pp, but we pre-paid online @ $30.00 each, there were seven of us.
We never purchase food, overpriced, and the kids know not to ask for the arcades.
Kingda-kong was in need of repair, and the management thought it ok to let the riders sit in the carts in the 80 degree weather for nearly 45 minutes before they shut down the ride.
The park needs much TLC, Wildwood, or Point Pleasant a much better option for us.
Not only here in NJ, but I went to Six Flags, Atlanta in 2008. I never want to go to another SF again. The kids are rude and ignorant (teenagers), the place is way overpriced (food, etc.) and maybe I'm spoiled by Universal parks in FL, but they just don't care if you are having a good time. You are paying enough to be there and they just don't care. It wasn't just here, but in Georgia too. I think it's a common theme of the SF parks, at least in my experience it is.
If I had to pick a park close by, I would go to Hershey. It's very clean and the atmosphere is completely different. There's plenty for everyone to do there.
