Very true....we have people who have asked on this forum where the heavily populated Indian or Asian areas are and no one got their knickers in a twist just pointed out the areas to them

In addition..look at all the people who don't want to live around children..whole entire housing developments for them ..lol

Nexis why even care, people choose to live or not live in certain areas for many reasons...he said he grew up in Newark maybe he had unpleasant experiences...we all are human and make our choices based on many things..some trivial and some not so trivial

this thread really took off overnight... or this morning. i last posted on here yesterday evening, and I was only the third post. i found the originally question to be bizarre. without even the OP saying so, I could tell he preferred not to be around african-americans... it was obvious. not that I'm critisizing his preferences, I just don't agree with them. I'm white, and whether or not he wants to be around black people is his choice... it is however rude. But hey, at least he isn't violent towards blacks... it just sounds like he has a mild dislike for them. but in this day in age, it's whatever.

to answer TDWP's question to me:
as far as I know, there isn't any racial tension between whites and hispanics. the towns that I mentioned to you are blue collar/working class cities (acutally Kearrny is technically a town and Belleville is a township) with decently sized populations. Belleville has around 30,000 people, Kearny has around 40,000 people, Clifton has about 70,000 people, and if I'm right Bayonne has about 60,000. the hispanic populations are becoming larger and the white populations are becoming smaller in these specific towns I mentioned to you.

I never actually lived in any of those towns, but I know quite a few kids who went to Clifton high school, I knew them through sports. a lot of them were actually mixes between white and hispanic. they would have italian mothers and dominican fathers, i remember one kid I knew was like that. so it sounds to me like the hispanics and whites get along pretty well. all the white kids from that town would pretend they're hispanic anyway. i knew people who grew up in Belleville, kearny, and bayonne. it was pretty much the same case in all of these towns.

any racial tensions that might have existed were in Belleville back in the late 60's with the Newark riots. nowadays all the Italians are either old timers and they're dying off or they're moving out. if you go to Belleville nowadays, lets just say its like dying and going to a scummy version of Puerto Rican heaven. people don't seem to care about that though.

Not that hispanics are that much better, but I can't completely reject my roots. So might as well make the best of it while I can. I do plan on moving to the southwest eventually.

Besides, I know there are still places that I can go, where I will be accepted. And that there are plenty of white women who like olive skinned guys. No point getting butt hurt about the people who don't.

I honestly don't see what the problem is here
In other words, are you saying you used to live in a ghetto area and now want out? In that case, first you need to figure out what you can afford.

This might help. Using over 90% white, and under 5% black, inversing, and having 'other' to denote higher populations of either non-white or non-black (translated higher %'s of Hispanics or Asians).

Does the "T" stand for troll?

You do realize that among the "Hispanic" population in New Jersey there are a lot of blacks, right? Just wanted to bust your bubble a bit.......

Well I had always wondered so that's why I asked. If I get a stable job then I might look into getting an apartment at some of the places mentioned so far.

Well i think you need to get out and explore the world or region more , because your stereotyping an entire race just based on your experience in Newark. Alot African Americans i know don't do the stuff , you talk about.
