Where are you currently living? That seems like a great deal. You certainly are not going to do better in Santa Fe.

I've contacted a few of the rentals on craigslist and they seemed on the up and up. There were a few that were obviously screwy. Split levels surrounded by grass and maple trees????? Not Santa Fe. Looked like a midwestern town. I know someone who rented something long distance in New England from craigslist and lost his money--didn't exist so sending someone to check it out is a good idea.
