I was on Tripadvisor and saw a review from last November. From the reviews I read it hasn't changed much in 40+ years.

As far as I know, it's open everyday except Tuesdays.

If I'm not mistaken back in the day they were one of the few places open on Sunday. They and the old Chinese Star Cafe next to the original Taco Bell.
