Good news for Alamo in that the defunct Sun Baked Bisquet factory which has been closed for a while and laid off 300 well payed workers was bought out by Marrietta Cookies and will reopen the factory and start production in September. Although only 50 to 100 jobs at first they plan major investment and expansion in the Alamo Plant on Lavelle RD over the next several yrs as business picks up and expands which will increase its workforce.
Anyway we'll take all we can get and another positive news for Alamo....
