I just did a Google Drive Through of Costilla. Pretty location but quite isolated. I saw a couple of abandoned old houses that might be available for very little money. IMHO the place is lovely but too far from medical services we are likely to need in a few years.

I also checked out Questa. I suppose the big area with the tailings ponds is the processing plant for the molly mine east of town? Otherwise same as comments about Costilla.
