I've never heard of the one in Gallup before, I know Alabama has one but Albuquerque takes it a little too far, its everywhere on every little knick knack and even our license plates, they get annoying after a while.

Has someone taken over desert sun's handle? Your vernacular seems different lately.

The Gallup balloon race has been going on for years. Albuquerque has the biggest and probably oldest rally - HUNDREDS of balloons!
The Alabama Jubilee Hot-Air Balloon Classic in Decatur, Alabama, has only taken place for 32 years...slightly less than ABQ's.

Although many people say sunsets my favorite is sunrise. There's a color on some mornings that is so beautiful and it creates a pink glow all around you.
