Gdude,

Sorry I forgot to answer this question.

Tempe has about 160,000 full time residents, but Arizona State University is within the city limits which easily adds another 50,000 during the school year. We are land locked so the population won't increase too much in the future. Tempe is just east of Phoenix, south of Scottsdale and west of Mesa.

The Phoenix-Mesa metropolitan area has a population of 4,281,899 making it the 12th largest metropolitan area. Metro Phoenix grew by 31.7% from 2000 to 2008.

Ruidoso has about 10,000 permanent residents and can swell on a holiday weekend to over 40,000. A lot of people have second homes in Ruidoso. On my block of about 30 houses (it is a very long block though) there are only 3 to 4 of them are full time residents. The rest of the houses sit vacant most of the year. A lot of people from Texas have summer/vacation homes in Ruidoso.

Good evening everyone.
Our power has been off and on all day but I'm so happy and I was surprised it started raining.
Also happy we're having our potluck inside tomorrow (planned that way)

Gdude- That sounds great about your job interview. I'm sure that will go well.

Wow that many vacant homes on your block? No one has a vacation home here as far as my knowledge.

The Phoenix Metro is just a little more than double the Indianapolis Metro.
