Thanks Nita, only 2 more days here in VA, we leave Saturday midday and wouldn't you know it we get to drive in the snow, hoping by the time we get down to Front Royal and beyond it will be better, and hopefully VDOT will keep up with I 66 and I 81. Thank goodness hubby knows how to drive in the snow. I never realized how alittle snow would shut down NOVA, we got about 2.5 inches of snow last night and the schools were all cancelled.

Steve Stucker said at the high noon news on KOB tv that some areas of NM are supposed to get between 2 and 12 inches of snow. Here in Elephant Butte, we can't see the mountains, and I'm guessing it's snowing at the higher elevations. When it clears off, we'll be able to see if it did. Heavy rains in the high desert though.

But we so need the moisture in NM so for me it is all very welcome. Hope it saves some rain and even snow for me to experience once I get back home.

Yeap, and all's we need now is for the weather to become milder, and those darned pesky goatheads will be back.
