Planning a trip to New Orleans before I move down there
Do you guys think three days is enough if I can afford four then ill go for four days
But I've been seeing the rates of the hotels and they're pretty expensive
89 dollars a night to be on bourbon street

Any recommendations before I go down there I'm not going til mid July or early August

Why would you want to stay on Bourbon? If you aren't going to be living in the Quarter then it will be a false reality those 3 days and the city might surprise you later on after you move. If you want to be in a central location for sight seeing purposes I can understand but don't get the idea that the entire city is anything like the French Quarter.
