Hello all, unfortunately I'm still waiting as well, I recieved a call from my rent office last week I was told that a development was choose for me but due to hurrican sandy there's no tellin when I'll be able to move in :-( As u may know Im on a borough wide waiting list for staten island (p.c. N1-emergency transfer-1 bedroom) so i guess I'll be patient an continue to rack up on furniture an boxes so when the day come I'll be ready ..lord knows I'm sick of it here.. Anywoo Good day folks! I just came across some information containg to nycha application status, if u will like to know what's goin on with your application call 250 broadway 212-306-3000 ask for the emergency transfer unit...anyone that answer can help u with ur question...I spoke with someone name ms fernadaze (don't know if I spelled it correctly) her number is 212 306-8836, she was VERY helpful, she answered all my questions and let me know exactally what's goin on with my application, I hope this information can help u as much as it helped me!! Good luck!!

P.s. everyone has supervisors!!

@Justliveurlife is that Only for applicants already living in Public Housing and waiting on a transfer?

Im just @ that point to say, forget nycha dont make me come there, call me or anything unless u can find a apartment. Im done with them there no way that 3yrs they dont have a 1 bedroom. An i will say this something is wrong with there computer! if thats true!!

@justliveurlife that number is for transfer applicants only but thanks for the info. Knowledge is power... Glad your making some progress.

@PrettyInRed it's been a 1.5yrs for me and I'm kinda feeling like I'll never be called. One person that I know that grew up there says 3 years is not a long time which is sad but don't give up because its also worth it I've been told. Goodluck
