Good luck 2 all. They still haven't checked my credit. But I am using Equifax and Experian seemed difficult to navigate and had a completely different score than Equifax. I like Equifax better.

Experian though said I had 4 inquiries, but don't specify date or who inquired.

I Need A Dishwasher, so is this 2nd round confirmed that you are getting a unit for sure? The only thing pending is to confirm your background check so they know you're not a terrorist or a nut, right?

They did the background check with the credit check. I'm neither a terrorist nor a nut, nor do I have a history of housing fraud, which is the specific offense they are looking for.

It's not confirmed that we're getting the unit for sure because we want a specific unit that is still held for someone until May 28. If that unit does open up, we're (not 100%) sure we'll get it. We're within the income range and have passed all tests so far, so our chances are good.

I wonder what are people's grounds for the specific appeal? Not that they have to answer but they don't seem that rare, if we already know of 2 households who are appealing. So much for their contention that they're doing everything perfectly with no objection or offense to give anyone.

I was told that people who have under 700 credit score would appealed. They would clear debt and present a new credit score report once it shot back up to 700 and up, but not sure if that guaranteed them anything.

The lengths people go through for housing.

That makes sense, I wonder how long it takes? I mean, if you knew you might be turned down when you filled out the ad you could start then.

Did you get a rejection letter in the mail yet?

That letter is the best indicator ever.

Hey Everyone. I've been keeping up with all the posts about progress on application statuses. Just wanted to share mine. We went to the open house on May 10th, dropped off our paperwork. I got a phone call from Q41 yesterday May 19th) asking some clarification questions about my current employment. Then they said that should be fine, they have talk to their supervisor about it and they'll get back to me. I was watching my phone like a hawk all day today, but it never rang! SIGH... just waiting like everyone else. I'm hoping to know soon because I just got my current apartment's lease renewal for Sept. 1st. We've been there for 8 years now in Sunnyside but our rent will be higher than the Q41 1 bedroom we want. Good luck to everyone else!

I'm shocked when they call for silly follow ups. Everything was given after the apartment showing - not sure what can be confusing when documents are crystal clear.

You ready to leave lovely Sunnyside with it's cafes and restaurats for LIC?

Do you have to find someone to take over your lease or just lose your deposit?
