My cynical guess says, because one is too close to the breathless-terror point of the lower portion of the income bracket... set BY the city!!

Hahahaha you are too funny.

Would you ever go back to their offices to physically follow up or appeal if rejected?

LOL! I have NO idea why people would get rejected by the city. At this point, I'm not 100% sure we could get the apartment because we ALSO could rejected! And no I don't think I can bring myself back to that office if rejected. PRobably wouldn't appeal either.

Our current apt. is 800 SF, but this new Q41 apt would be waaaaay smaller. So either way it doesn't matter if we get it...current bigger older apt vs. smaller newer apt.

Yes, we signed a floor plan on the 12th floor. I didn't even ask for a high floor! It's perfect.

Congrats. Keep us posted and let us know how the process is and if they'll request anymore ridiculous documents from you.

Do you have a move in date?

Q41, you've got to read the posts closer. They don't have a move in date because they are still waiting to be approved by the city.

Oh, oops! Ignore my silly question than.

However, 800 Sq feet for the new Q41 apartment seems like large space to me.

NewQ41 congrats! What floor did you get?
Anyways, enjoy the new place. Any comments you have after signing the lease or after you move are much appreciated.
