Thanks Tanya! Nvme3489, I applied last summer and cannot remember if I applied for a studio or one bedroom. Nevertheless, I was informed that there are still vacancies.
I went on my interview on 1/14 and I applied for a two bedroom and I was told there were no vacancies in fact that they were still holding interviews incase the people they have chosen at any time before moving in that they no longer wanted the unit , they would have back up. That's awesome that you were told something much more relieving, I'm sure you got the apt

Sorry to hear that. They shouldn't waste people's time if they don't have any vacancies. Did you have to pay the $25-50 money order? What was your log # and who was your interviewer? Sorry for so many questions.
Are they picking with ppl with bad credit, im currently in a repair credit program, would that affect me in any way?...FYI my interview is next week
Credit is 1 of the determining factors. They'll look for major red flags like extreme debt, bankruptcy, etc. not sure how much a bad credit score affects the decision tho

I was told that the credit report is extremely important and if you have multiple blemishes you will be rejected. Good news is if its not recent they may overlook the blemishes.

I was told the same exact thing. The only difference is that I was told a week after my interview. Truthfully speaking and Lets be real-- who would actually not accept an affordable unit after being approved, etc?! NO ONE! The point in applying for affordable housing is because you need/want it. I just do not see any person in their right mind having a change of heart after following through with the whole process. So I am just taking this as a lost and will just simply continue applying to other developments.
