Gp23 I'm in the same situation as you. I got called in for an interview the first week of December. The last update I heard was that my file is with HPD. That was about a week ago.
Oh wow we must've had our interviews around the same time...this is to nerve racking for me I'm hoping I hear something this week I figured cause of the holiday it may be a delay

I was first interviewed back in March. Then things got delayed indefinitely. Then in early December I was asked to come back in and all of my docs were submitted to HPD around 12/15. Haven't heard anything since.

I was first interviewed back in March as well, delays, and then submitted all documents in the beginning of December when i was called back in, All my docs was submitted to HPD around 12/22 and was told 1-2 weeks to hear an answer, do you know whats the chances of getting the apartment after HPD reviews your documents?

I don't know the chances. It seems to me that if the management company has thoroughly reviewed your document and approved it, then it makes sense HPD will also approve it but that's just speculation (and hope). I have no idea what HPD actually examines to determine whether or not you're approved. All I know is that the one step that is actually supposed to be quick is the HPD review but of course, that is not working out that way. Losing my miiiiiind.
