Uh yeah...if you want it to be the Caribbean in your apartment, you'll definitely feel the heat come the bill at the end of the month 😁
Tell me about it, lol!
Believe it or not.....when its not that cold (25F and warmer)....I don't even run my heat! The building maintains a nice 68 to 72 without running my heat. These past few days with the temps dipping in the single digits at night though made my apartment drop well below 60 so I had to turn on the heat to a mild 72-75! I'm just glad I don't have to run my heat 24/7 because that would be very costly like the summer was. Lesson learned, lol.
Hola, did you sign your docs for HDC yet and did BG submit them?
The leasing specialist I dealt with was great most of the time but once I asked if my file went to HDC and she she said yes it was sent a couple days before, I was on the phone with them (HDC) only for BG to call me to say I was approved
I have an interview for 38th Sixth but will cancel AFTER signing my lease.
I haven't heard back from them - I'm not surprised they told me it would be back from compliance on Friday or Monday and I haven't heard from them yet.

I think they specify heat is included. This means your in house unit fans the heat being supplied by the building and works as an AC in the summer. I don't think you pay in full for electric heat, just electric fans for the supplied heat.

Yea your right about that, the building has a nice overall temp. Though So I don't run the heat as much, it gets really warm

This is exactly my understanding of how our heating system works. I’m all about conserving heat and being smart but these last two weeks I’m like pump up the heat to 70!. I just couldn’t get the arctic chill out of my bones. Yesterday we finally put the heat back down.
So total side note: Manner are you going to organize this happy hour once everyone is moved in and settled? Is everyone still down?
