Are you happy living there?

I haven't moved in yet. Moving this week. I'm optimistic that it'll work out. It's a lot cheaper then my current place so I'm hopeful the savings will have a positive impact on my quality of living. The area is nice so it should all be fine.

Are you able to fit bed & couch in your studio apt?

Yes, a small couch, a bistro table with two chairs, coffee table, dresser, bookcase, two small side tables, bed, and a bike with room to move around. This is my third studio and the best layout so far. The ceilings feel high to me so it feels roomy, light and bright.

The building held an open house yesterday, it looks lovely, but I am disappointed with the size of a 1BR in the 5th band, very small. The layout of the studio was quite nice though. I understand the complaints about the AC units here, they occupy at least 6 square feet in each room. Total eyesore.

Amenities are nice, but the gym is tiny for a 250+ unit building. Only one of each machine. Nice public terrace on the 9th floor (of 19), there is an unobstructed view to the West South and East. North (Manhattan view) is mostly obstructed by the building itself. The gardens take up a lot of space on the deck as well, not much if any space for kids to run around or to lay out with a lounge chair under the sun. No grills. Overall pretty disappointing for bands 4 and 5 imo.

Agreed. I went to the open house yesterday and was disappointed to see how small the 1BR was. It seemed like you could fit a queen/king but not much else besides maybe a nightstand or so. Also, the gym isn't 24/7 (according to our tour guide), and closes at 10PM, which I thought was weird.

I don't think the gym closing at 10PM is that unusual. My last building, which was market rate in Downtown Brooklyn, closed all the amenities when the building's quiet hours started. I have a band 4 studio and it feels very very roomy with all my furniture and there is plenty of storage space. My family all commented on how big it feels compared to my previous studios.

I've been in the building a little over a week and have nothing to complain about. The maintenance team has been great. Jennifer at the front is lovely. The garden is beautiful and the people are pretty friendly.

I agree! I've lived here since April and I've been fine. The A/C units are annoying but I've learned to work around it.

I think the income band im in only has 4 available 2 bedrooms. Is tis even possible for me to be able to get one of these? How do they calculate income? Any info would be great!
