Did anyone have trouble getting Brianna to call them/email them back? I received an email about setting up an interview for 435 W 31 late Friday night and immediately emailed her back. I got no response so called today (Monday 8/28) and got her v/m. Still have not heard from her and don't want to be a pest but would like to schedule my interview. Have all my paperwork complete. Any suggestions on how to proceed?
She NEVER responded to a single one of my emails. I am now with someone else and so happy about it.
Jelly36 - No preferential treatment. I'm on disability though I'm only 45 due to very severe autoimmune diseases. I am paying so much in rent right now it's really difficult to make it on SSD and savings. This would be a life-saver for me. My log is #47291 though I've been told that those are random and don't necessarily mean much. I've had ones as low as 2,000 for other apartments and haven't been called so who knows! I've sort of given up trying to figure this system out.
Finally did get an email back from Brianna and the next set of interviews is 9/5-9/15 so I'll be going in that Tuesday.
Picuco - wow I'm so sorry. That's awful management on their end and I would think someone would have the right to appeal since they potentially lost out on an apartment because this woman didn't get back to them. May I ask who you ended up with? I'm glad it worked out for you.

I did appeal and it was accepted. I am now with Derek Bryant and so far he has been much better than Brianna. I'm hoping to get my application processed very soon!
Picuco - I'm really happy you are dealing with a more together person. Brianna gave me a day but not a time and now she won't respond again...very frustrating to deal with her. This process should be straightforward and streamlined and instead she makes it even more stressful than it already is. I wish I could deal with Derek he sounds more on top of things. I wish you the very best of luck going forward!

I can tell you now they checked your credit report the day you turned in your paper work and paid the 25 bucks,that's the first thing they do before trying to go forward.
So you all know how STUPID the fools at Breaking Ground are .I got an apartment 535 west 43rd though them,after getting HPD/HDC involved,.and I moved in August 1 ,yet they contacted me about this building last weekend.
I can tell you now they checked your credit report the day you turned in your paper work and paid the 25 bucks,that's the first thing they do before trying to go forward.
Guys, update: my file has moved to Brianna to another person, Leasing Specialist. He emailed me and asked me few more questions about my application. I answered immediately. The questions are about things in my application that I have already provided and answered to Brianna. Is this a good sign or not?
so i had my interview on the 24th of this month and i just heard from my intake person she is now moving my file over to the next person! my log number is 7xx so im hoping for the best !! good luck to everyone as well
