I got a call this morning that the city approved my file. That just took ONE day! I just saw the apt and said yes to it. I know a couple of you already got in.. how long did it take you from the day you saw the apt to the day you signed the lease with the building management?

Also, I know some of these building's low rent units are for 10 years, others 20 years, and some of them (rarely) for life. Do any of you know how many is it for The Eugene?

Wow that's great! Oh I wish this one was that many years but it seems like it's not.

One bedroom. There's still a lot available. They haven't finished interiors for a bunch of them yet.

Congratulations Picuco! I have my interview on Thursday and you've given me a tiny glimmer of hope. Is the building as nice as it looks on the website?

Yes it's a very nice building and the amenities are ridiculous. More than I'll ever use lol

I think many of the amenities cost extra...maybe that's management's attempt at keeping those of use who get in under affordable housing 'away' from those paying full price!! LOL. Truthfully, I don't care much about the game room or tv room (whatever their calling it). I do like the pet spa (for my therapy/assistance dog) and the roof deck looks beautiful.

Overall, looks like a great place to live though.

Hope I'll be seeing you there. Fingers crossed.

Congrats again!

Would you be able to tell us for how many years these units are rent control?
