This sounds great..although I have no interest in a Pioneer supermarket. A Pathmark at a minimum should be there.

Tanning roof on the tower? I thought the the tower was only going to have the comminity room and a Balcony which I can't see to make out in relation to the picture on the site with what is actually built. Dining? You mean on your own or there is going to be a designated area for tables and such? I'm actually upset because I was previous holding one of the two bedrooms that has a backyard but decided to downgrade since I am buying on my own. BBQing while watching girls softball would have been great. Maybe next time.

Thanks for the info on the other development. Those dates are closer so sounds more realistic. I am surprised that Dallas BBQ would want to be there because I would think with the school being so close they would be zoned out of serving alcohol. I wouldn't mind being down the block from a Texas size drink from time to time. Also Planet Fitness just opened on third avenue. I do think there is market demand for another gym unless that one gets packed. Too soon to tell.

I agree with @Sobroguy, Pioneer, really? Parthmark or at the very least Western Beef only if they make it like the new one on Webster which has a great selection of Produce. Pioneer sounds like a good fit for the supermarket at St.Anns.

Any insight about the people who are moving into St.Anns? I've read the forum they have as well since they will be so close

In general I am not a fan of BBQs, but in a pinch it would be ok for some Texas sized something. Planet Fitness is open, I am sure it will be crowded...at $10 per month with no initiation, it will be jammed all day/night...so basically useless for me.

As for the people at St. Ann's, based on the comments on here and the grammar, I have low expectations. But you never know.

Regarding St.Anns, as long as they keep the hoodrat shenanigans else where they are fine Hopefully we get some good foot patrol rookie cops in the area.

I can see into the Planet Fitness from the train and it is definitely getting lots usage already.

Yeah I saw into it last night on the train...it was really a cool experience to see it. It is a long overdue amenity for the neighborhood, and having another one which is a bit more expensive would be better.

After my negative experience with Morton Williams and how they killed the redevelopment of the Kingsbridge Armory, they will not get a penny from me. I will be happy to see a gristedes, dagostinos, or a trader joes damnit!

Some pics of the model apt which is a two bedroom duplex. Furniture by West Elm.

I would love for a NYSC to be put in Melrose but demographically speaking the area can not support it at this time. They should add one to the mall near Yankee Stadium. The commute would be much easier than the Morris Park location.

Trader Joes in the BX... in my dreams. It sucks that you need to commute to the city or Fairway by Mt.Vernon for some quality groceries.

As far as groceries i will probably still drive to western beef unless better alternatives are closer. The one person i met from St Anns was a Upper West side transplant and i spoke with him in length and is a good addition to the community. There is a Roof Terrace on the Top of the Tower. According to the diagram it looks as if the tables etc are already on the Roof Terrace/Sundeck lounge chairs/ Tables on dining deck. I have NO idea how all that will work. They don't have anything i have found in writing about them. They just say a Roof Terrace. According to the Schematic There is a Party Deck, Dining Deck and Sun Deck that they call them. I believe at different roof levels. Though it seems to be a stairs to walk down to the Dining deck level from the Roof Terrace...Which of course is part of the community room. According to one of the security workers he told me that during the summer at the Amphitheater they would have a screen of some sorts and show movies on Saturdays. I have my doubts about that though. I think he has confused or something..I am not sure. My son has a membership at Planet Fitness so i will be going with him as a guest.

nice photos...I see the hard hats was a must Patiently awaiting a countersignature to touch base with the loan officer as I hear interest rates are at an all time low. I'm very anxious yet nervous to see how this development is going to pan out. Good luck to all
