Haha no, I am on the waitlist like most here. Also praying it doesn't! It would immediately change my life planning if I knew I wouldn't be getting a place there eventually.

An update on the court case and vote:

The hearing was yesterday and they're waiting for the judge to rule.

"The in-person date of the vote is August 31 - that is when we'll know the outcome. Voting also is happening via US mail and dropbox all month.

Yes, the court date right now is Aug 3, but oral arguments could be after that (if at all). But in any case, the injunction was lifted by the judge last month so the vote has been scheduled. The lawsuit won't affect the vote unless we win the lawsuit and the judge orders a reset of the entire process. We are making sure our bases are covered and working under the assumption that we'll lose the suit and the vote will proceed as scheduled."

Thank you. I wish I would have taken the unit I was offered instead of moving to the two bedroom list.

Exactly, why open up a lottery list if they will be possibly moving out of the Mitchell Lama program? I want MORE building to be in the Mitchell Lama program not leave. I almost don't want to apply.
