I found this thread while researching 89 Murray street after applying to the "affordable" lottery... Recently (March-2021) received an email from Related Management to submit the documents since they reached my log# 18XX. The "current legal rent" on a 2-BR unit according to Related Management is now $3,784. The rent originally advertised $2,800 - $3,100 is no longer available... They have been calling and emailing to follow-up on whether I would like to proceed with the appointment. Just sharing so that you are not surprised by a steep increase in the advertised rent.

I just read the whole thread. Random user name, I feel you on that HPD double dipping - I see where you are coming with that. Weird way to calculate income - not talking taxes.

When they raised the cutoffs last year it eliminated the problem for me personally... but I'm still mad at the system for others' sakes.

Anyone with any updated info here? Current rent? Log numbers?

Last I saw, 2BDs were $4,100 (insane).
