Yes, there was a long line, (Not sure if all were our fellow future neighbors
since they handle many more lotteries, but it took a little over an hour of the appointment time, which I didn't mind to be honest)). But I was wondering if anyone can lighten me up with something.
- For this specific lottery there are
TWENTY SEVEN -
1 bedrooms and
SEVENTY studios are available. And we already know that 50% of that goes to CB preference which is THIRTEEN - 1 bedrooms, and THIRTY FIVE studios.
- My question is WHEN the agency will start assigning apartments to LOG numbers without any preference. Once all those THIRTEEN 1 bedrooms and THIRTY FIVE studios approved for CB preferences???
- Let's say if someone with a CB preference with a HIGHER LOG # had an interview and all the paperworks are good and qualified for a studio or a 1 Bedroom, will he/she be waitlisted if 50% of the units already APPROVED or ASSIGNED?
- Also, how important is the LOG number here? Because some CB preferences take longer for an approval and some are faster. What if a SINGLE person with a higher LOG number with CB preference is approved BEFORE someone who has a bigger CB family with a lower LOG # (which MAY take a bit longer to process all the papers and additional papers may be required from school etc). Will that person be assigned a UNIT despite higher log number since all the paperworks are ready to be sent to HPD?
