All I know is all weekend I've been trying to look at one bedroom layouts and the website is down, lol.
LOL.
I'd be curious for those living in studios there now what the dimensions are of the studio. Not the whole apt but living/bedroom area. Anyone currently living there and have measured it?
Was apparently on a waiting list for 9yrs and forgot all about it and been living happily in a large 1br by the Apollo in harlem for 1.5yrs. Can’t complain one bit
In 2018 I was first called to submit all the documents in March and then again I had to show update info in June before getting approved in July for aug move in.
Congrats on moving in @ CBM57
Glad you like it. We're neighbors! I'm still settling in. Still waiting on furniture shipments. I ordered stuff and had to send back and I'm still organizing things that I just got out of my storage units. It's taking me time to design my living room because I know what I want and I'm putting it all together myself.
So far I'm so happy and thankful. I love my apartment! I find it to be spacious.
This really is a fresh start for me and I am so blessed.
Anyone else move in?*

Reason: Typo's
I moved into a fancy building via the lottery. I've been enjoying it a lot. Love having a gym, nice common spaces, and a doorman. Wayyyy better than my previous Chinatown apartment and just like $100 more per month. I'm in the higher AMI category. I feel like staff treats me very well and are extremely responsive. I feel like I'm treated the same as the other tenants. The tenants skew young and rich and seem to be on their phones a lot (like when in the elevator and stuff). Anyway, I've had a positive experience overall and recommend you win a lottery, too.
Most who win an apartment after coming this this form hardly come back because of the constant BS on this forum. They already got what they wanted so why come back to see the constant bickering about stuff..
this is my plan once i move into Penn South. come back once a month to answer questions and provide guidance to people on the PS thread. This forum IS constant bs from the same posters.
I know assumptions can be misguided, but I am going to have to assume that I did not make the cut in the 2019 Lottery. No email, and no snail mail letter at this point.
I love reading these because it gives me hope. I had my eligibility interview for a building around the corner from Elton Crossing (Bronx Commons) at the end of Sept. Turned in more paperwork in October and a couple of weeks ago, had to notarize something about additional income. So now it's the waiting game. How did you know when the paperwork was sent off for approval? You were notified or you called?
my building doesn't look very close to being occupied. construction goes on and on
