The 2-bed list is still nonfunctional for me and has been for weeks. Can't stand not knowing my precise current number LOL.

I wonder what's up. I can't check my daughter's wait list anymore, but I don't think it's related to your difficulty.

Could it be that they're adding the new list to the old list and that's causing a bug in the system? I'm not a web developer but it appears to be a pretty bare bones platform.

Could be. I'd love to know if the list is functional for the 1-bed and studio folks.

mollybloom I'm on the 2 bedroom list and it seems to be loading fine for me to check it. SIDE NOTE: I have not moved in MONTHS and I just don't understand why it is SO SLOW!!

WHAT??? I am shocked to hear this! I'm toward the top of the list (was number 14) and just saw three apartments a couple of weeks ago (but I am 13th in line). Maybe during this process they disable the list for the people in consideration. Lalawag77, you should see movement very soon since there are at least three 2-bedrooms on offer right now.

If you don’t understand why it’s so slow you might need to look at the big picture, and also in narrow focus.

They are not adding new units to PS so only vacancies will make the list move. It’s an excellent and affordable place to live so existing residents are in no hurry to leave. There are likely PS residents who would like to leave but cannot find housing they like elsewhere that they can afford so they stay put. Interest rates are high which is discouraging for PS residents looking to purchase someplace else.

I don’t know but they might not put effort into keeping the list ‘up to the minute’ as if it is a bank balance. Some units might have turned over but have not been posted yet. My hope would be if you are very near the top of the list there would be some outreach to you.

Warm weather and lower interest rates might increase turnover.

I would email the apartment allocation person. It might be something that needs correcting.
